So you have started to Bag a few munros, however until now you have decided to wait for good weather, but with limited time you need to be able to go walking in a variety of visibilities, or maybe you’ve been caught out on a high peak by incoming cloud and the &*%! has hit the fan. Luckily for you there was someone to follow down, but next time you might not be so lucky. As such you want to know how to navigate in bad visibility of even complete darkness to get you and your friends safely off the hill. Then this is the course for you.
In order to help you the most this two day course will cover a lot of ground that is off any marked path, will will use a variety of contour and land features to help us get from A to B. With any luck the cloud will be down and visibility low, it doesn’t matter if it isn’t as we will also head back for dinner and then head back out into the hills after darkness in order to replicate those difficult conditions.
What you will feel after this course is a massive sense of accomplishment and a realisation that you can stay found when the going gets tough.
