Many walker have made it through there early years without know where on earth they are with any degree of accuracy, even more have become geographic embarrassed or lost. What this course will do is take you from simple navigation along paths and progressively introduce new skills at your own pace, whilst allowing you to consolidate those skills so you feel confident in using them. So if you don’t know a ring contour from a re-entrant or a bearing from a pacing then this is the course for you.
So if you don’t want to get lost or are tired of your husband leading astray, then this course will allow you to feel confident to follow route both on and off the beaten track, in both good and bad weather. On top of this there is also the worry that should the worse happen when you are out on the hill and you need to call 999 and get the mountain rescue team to come to your aid that you’ll be able to direct them to exactly where you are.
