Start the first of six days working an entire Mountain Leader Training Course at Plas Y Brenin. Today was the navigation day, tomorrow the ‘mountain day’, although with winter on the summits still it will probably be more a journey across steep ground rather than up to the tops.
It was my third time over Crimpau in the last seven days, a great place for teaching navigation. However I do feel I am starting to form my own paths between contour features!
Should be a good week though, working with these guys for the whole course. One of the students is an old friends from back when I was a student. Was good to catch up and hear about another friend who arrived back in the UK last night.
